How AAG works

Control what an agent does, not what it thinks.

Trying to make a model incapable of error is an unsolved research problem. Checking an action against the business’s own records before it executes is an engineering problem, one that can be solved, measured, and trusted by a security team and an auditor.

Before anything happens

Four questions, answered for every consequential action.

  1. 01

    Who is this agent?

Every agent has its own identity, never a borrowed or shared account.

  2. 02

On whose authority is it acting?

Every action traces back to a responsible person.

  3. 03

Is this part of an authorized task?

Permission to refund is not permission to refund any order. Anything outside the task is stopped, however persuasive the request.

  4. 04

Is it eligible, given the business’s own records?

An action can pass every technical check and still be wrong for the business. Ineligible actions don’t execute, whether the agent was misled or simply mistaken.

Every decision has an outcome

Not just allow or deny.

Decisions are deterministic: the same facts and the same rules always give the same answer.

Go

Routine, eligible actions are prepared from verified facts and go straight through.

Offer what is owed

Where only part of a request is owed, AAG can offer or execute the eligible amount instead of refusing outright.

Ask a person

Unusual actions, or records that conflict or are missing, go to the right approver. AAG holds rather than guesses.

Stop

Ineligible actions don’t happen, and the agent’s owner is told when something looks wrong.

Built for the enterprise

Runs where your business runs.

In your environment

AAG can run entirely inside your own environment, with a managed option if you prefer.

No standing keys

Agents hold no reusable credentials to the systems they act on. Short-lived permission is attached only to an approved action.

One switch

Contain a misbehaving agent in graduated steps, or revoke its future authority across every connected system at once.

Signed evidence

Every decision and its outcome is recorded and sealed, and can be exported to the security tools you already use.

Works with what you run

Alongside the identity providers and agent gateways you already have, across models, frameworks and vendors.

Observe first

Start in shadow mode on the traces your agents already emit, and see what could be automated before AAG controls anything.

Where AAG fits

Our neighbours are our partners.

Each layer answers a different question. AAG answers the one closest to the business.

Identity providersdecide who an agent is and what it may sign in to.
Agent gatewaysdecide which tools an agent may call.
Security toolslook for attacks, injection and data leakage.
AAGdecides whether this specific action is right for the business, and makes sure it happens once.

Our public research did not identify a generally available product offering this combination of business eligibility, independent authority and execution coordination. We are testing with customers whether it is underserved.

See it decide real cases.
